Tropico Pvt Ltd was incorporated in 2016, with the vision to provide full-service distribution of high-end Gelato, Coffee, specialty beverages and beverage-related supplies to the lucrative tourism industry in the Maldives. We officially started our operations from January 2019. The Maldives with its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear turquoise water attracts millions of tourists each year. Most of the world’s biggest brands have started or are on the way of starting their operations in the Maldives. The shareholders of Tropico Pvt Ltd, have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Tourism and Food & beverage industry in the Maldives. With a combined knowledge and experience of over 20 years in their respective industries, our vision is to provide reliable and impeccable service to the resorts, who are searching for niche brands to give their properties that little edge over their competitors. Our target is to provide goods, that would work synonymous with high-quality gastronomical demands the guests pouring into the resorts are looking to indulge on their luxurious holidays. We have firm commitments to distribute our Gelato products produced by Rubicone from Italy and Hausbrandt Coffee also from Italy and have verbal commitments from few resorts already throughout the Maldives market to carry our product range. Distinguishing characteristics of our business will be the combination of management experience, market knowledge, sales and distribution links with the right people from the resorts, high-quality, innovative products and exceptional customer service.
